CONSEGNA MOBILE APPLICATION

Mobile App Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

CONSEGNA DELIVERY SERVICES LLC ("Consegna", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information through the Consegna mobile application, our website at theconsegna.com , and the connected Consegna business systems.

The mobile app is intended for authorized personnel using a Consegna work account; the website is available to visitors.

1. Information We Handle

The information involved depends on your relationship with Consegna, your assigned role, the features you use, and the permissions you grant. It may include:

  • Account and contact information: name, work account identifier, email address, phone number, employee or rider identifier, role, branch, and sign-in or session information.
  • Employment and operational records: attendance and shift records; rider, bike, inventory, workshop, inspection, helpdesk, request and approval records; performance and work activity; and, where relevant to an authorized role, payroll, expense, insurance, medical or health-related, identity, visa, labour-card, and other employment documents.
  • Location information: the device location used for attendance check-in and, for authorized supervisors during an active checked-in field shift, location points used for live field tracking and route history. Location records can include coordinates, accuracy, time, and related device or movement information. Authorized managers may view field locations according to their access rights.
  • Content you provide: staff chat messages, support requests, inspection notes, photographs, videos, scanned codes, uploaded documents, and other information submitted through the app or website.
  • Device and technical information: device or notification registration identifiers, app and device information, security and diagnostic information, and information needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Website information: details you provide when contacting us, along with information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookie or similar technology data where used.

2. Why We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users; provide role-based access; operate attendance, field supervision, rider management, inspections, inventory, workshop, helpdesk, requests, approvals, and staff chat; deliver relevant notifications; respond to enquiries; maintain business and employment records; protect users and systems; troubleshoot and improve our services; and meet applicable contractual or legal obligations.

We do not use the mobile app to display third-party advertising.

3. Location, Camera, Photos, and Notifications

The app requests location access when a location-based feature is used. Attendance check-in uses the current location.

Background location is used only for an authorized supervisor's field tracking during an active checked-in shift; tracking is stopped when that shift ends.

If you deny a required permission, the related feature may not work. You can manage device permissions in your phone settings.

The camera may be used to scan inventory codes or capture work evidence. Photos, videos, and documents selected or captured for a work task may be uploaded to Consegna's business system.

The app uses notification permission to send relevant helpdesk and staff-chat alerts. Chat and helpdesk push alerts contain a generic notice rather than the full message or ticket text.

4. Who Can Access Information

Access within Consegna is based on work responsibilities and assigned permissions. For example, authorized supervisors and managers may see information needed for their operations, while HR, accounts, inventory, and workshop personnel may access records relevant to their duties.

Staff chat is shown to its participants through the app; authorized system administrators may also have access where needed to operate, secure, or comply with obligations relating to the system.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, and deliver the app or website; with business partners where required to provide our services; or with authorities and professional advisers where required or permitted by law.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Service Providers and External Services

The app connects to Consegna's Frappe-based business system, hosted through Frappe Cloud.

Google Firebase Cloud Messaging is used for push notification delivery and processes device notification tokens and the information needed to route a generic alert.

Apple and Google provide mobile operating-system and app-distribution services.

When the live map is displayed, map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap's tile service; that service may receive technical request information such as an IP address and the requested map area.

These providers may handle information under their own terms and privacy notices.

6. Storage, Security, and Retention

Consegna uses role-based access controls and other technical and organizational safeguards.

The app may keep previously loaded work data and pending offline updates in encrypted local storage so work can continue when connectivity is limited. That local cache is cleared when you sign out or change accounts.

No system of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Routine supervisor route-location points in the active business system are scheduled for deletion after 30 days.

Other records are kept for as long as reasonably needed for the work purpose, employment or business records, dispute resolution, security, or applicable legal requirements.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period under the relevant backup schedule.

Deleting an app from a phone does not automatically delete records already held in the Consegna business system.

7. Your Choices and Requests

You can adjust location, camera, photo, and notification permissions in your device settings, subject to any work requirements associated with your role.

If you want to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or have a question about its use, contact us using the details below.

We will review requests in light of applicable law and our legitimate employment, operational, and record-keeping obligations.

If you have a Consegna work account, you may also contact your HR or system administrator for account-related requests.

8. International Processing

Consegna is based in the United Arab Emirates. Some service providers may process or store information in other countries.

Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the information and applicable requirements.

9. Website Cookies and Links

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, performance, and understanding website use.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although some features may be affected.

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.

10. Children

The mobile app is intended for authorized work accounts and is not directed to children.

The website provides business information and is not designed to collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted on this page.

12. Consegna Mobile App Data Deletion Policy

Employees who have left CONSEGNA DELIVERY SERVICES LLC may request deletion of their personal data associated with the Consegna Mobile App by emailing info@theconsegna.com.

Please include your full name, employee ID (if applicable), and the email or mobile number associated with your account.

Upon verification of the request and employment status, Consegna will delete eligible app-related personal data and deactivate the associated account within 7 days.

Certain employment, payroll, financial, legal, accounting, security, or business records may be retained where required by applicable UAE laws or for legitimate business purposes. Such records will be retained only for the applicable required retention period.

For deletion requests, please use the subject line "Mobile App Data Deletion Request."
